Russia's Ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin and other Russian diplomats in London are to be banned from Parliament's building, according to the Guardian.
"As the formally accredited representative of the Russian government, the ambassador will not be welcomed onto the parliamentary estate until further notice," the British newspaper quoted a statement published today, Monday, by the heads of the House of Commons and Lords.
The paper added that the ban also includes other Russian diplomats and employees working in the UK, who have been working in the country unofficially since the beginning of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, noting that it was currently confirmed for the first time in the official document.
