The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) announced on Thursday that it intends to lift the ban on Egyptian potatoes from three regions.
The authority added in a press release that it will soon review the ban that was imposed on Egyptian potatoes in 2018.
It was reported that Egyptian potatoes exported to the Russian market in 2020 amounted to 194,445 tons, standing as the main supplier of the root vegetable.
