On Wednesday, Russia's Defense Ministry said that the forces destroyed 1053 Ukrainian military facilities, and 106 shooting locations overnight.
“40 Ukrainian soldiers were killed, and 7 weapon systems by precision missiles were destroyed,” the ministry added.
The ministry announced that it would stop the attack on the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, noting that the Ukrainian forces in the plant would surrender on Wednesday.
