Romelu Lukaku was born to Roger Lukaku and Adolphine Lukaku on 13 May 1993, in Antwerp, Belgium. His father, Roger Lukaku was a professional football player. His mother’s name is Adolphine Lukaku. His family lived under very harsh conditions, they were "Broke" as he said, the couldn't even afford food for the week. Lukaku stated that his mother was forced to mix milk with water because they couldn't afford enough milk for the week and that they actually borrowed bread instead of buying it. Seeing Lukuko's monster frame now doesn't reflect on the very scarce nutritional background he had as a child.

Although things seemed harsh, Lukaku always assured his parents that he would one day become a very successful footballer and would completely alter their lives. During his early life, Lukaku began to play football at a very young age in the local club Rupel, he was five at the time. From his childhood, he idolized Chelsea legend Didier Drogba. Moreover, he also wants to play there at Stamford Bridge, which also became a success in later days.

During the first season, 2009-2010 Lukaku scored his debut goal as a substitute on 24 May 2009 against Standard Liège. He completed his first season as a top goal scorer where Anderlecht managed to win their 30th Belgian title. Lukaku signed for his dream club Chelsea in August of 2011 for an estimated sum of €20 million. He couldn’t do his best to secure the position and then Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho sent him on a season-long loan to West Bromwich Albion on 10 August 2012. Despite sent off in a loan from Chelsea he still managed to become sixth-highest goalscorer in the Premier league season 2012-2013 scoring 17 goals.

Lukaku’s turning point in his career was in 2013, when he was loaned to Everton. He was one of the main reasons Everton in secured the fifth place in Premier League, where he scored 15 times in 31 matches. On July 24 he signed a permanent deal with everton at £28 million, which was also a club record.

During 2016-2017 season, he was Everton first player to score in six consecutive Premier League matches. He scored 17 goals in the season equalling his highest goal record held in former club West Brom. His first hat-trick came against Sunderland on 12 September 2016, in the very first match of the season.

He was the 12th quickest player in the Premier League history to score a hat-trick, in 11 minutes and 37 seconds. It was his most decorated season ever scoring 21 goals which were the most by anyone in a single season by an Everton player. He also became the fourth player and first foreign player to score 80 Premier League goals in his career before the age of 24.

In 2017 the young player got his chance to play for English giants Manchester United, in a staggering amount of £75 million with a five-year contract transfer from Everton, Lukaku had a tough burden on his shoulders after United hero Wayne Rooney left the club for Everton.

Lukaku is currently one of the main reason Dark horses Belgium are getting this far in 2018's World Cup, being dubbed as part of the dangerous trio of him Edin Hazard and Kevin DeBruyne. Lukaku will have perhaps the toughest test to date. when his nation clashes with France in the Semi Finals of the World Cup. Pitting two Wonderkids Kyllian Mbappe and Lukaku against each other.
