Rey Mysterio to Be Inducted into 2023 WWE Hall of Fame

Rey Mysterio, one of the iconic and legendary names in the history of professional wrestling and the legendary of the Luchadors, is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, Class 2023, WWE announced on Saturday. 

Mysterio, 48, started his wrestling career at the age of 14 years old. He is widely known for his significant high-flying techniques and his impressive countless masks. 

Mysterio didn't perform only in WWE but he had hundreds of appearances in different promotions, in addition, he participated at Lucha Underground. 

In WWE, he held different titles such as the World Heavyweight champion twice, the WWE champion once, the Intercontinental and U.S. champion twice each, the cruiserweight champion three times, held the tag team title five times. 

Last year, WWE celebrated Mysterio's 20th anniversary in the promotion, and he was the main art cover of the company's worldwide famed video game WWE 2K. 

Mysterio is the first inductee announced for the grand event until now.

 The 2023 Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on March 31 at Crypto.com Arena.
