Egyptian team of restorers and archaeologists from the Supreme Council of Antiquities started to restore the recently-unearthed heads of rams that were found in the Al-Kebbash Road, southern Karnak Temples.
Dr. Mostafa Waziri, the secretary-general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, said that the Egyptian archaeological mission working at the site succeeded in unveiling three heads of rams separated from their original statues.
He added that after the restoration those heads will be reconnected to the statues located in the Al-Kebbash Road, adding that excavation work will be continued in the site.
It is worthy to mention that there is an archaeological committee concerned with the Al-Kebbash Road has selected a collection of rare photos for the history of Karnak temples, several prestigious archaeological discoveries, and scenes for the ancient fests.
