Research Institutes in Abu Dhabi, Washington, Tel Aviv Announce Strategic Partnership

Three important research institutes in the United Arab Emirates, the United States of America and Israel announced establishing a strategic partnership in researches and studies.

The three institutes are: the "Atlantic Council" in the American capital, Washington, the "Emirates Policy Center" in Abu Dhabi, and the "Institute for National Security Studies (INSS)" in Tel Aviv.

A joint statement said that this partnership takes place in the light of UAE-Israel peace deal signed last August.

“We believe that the research and study centers have a vital role in supporting peace tracks, our partnership will provide the foundations for a "warm peace", and maximize the potential of this deal in strengthening the Emirati-Israeli relations, stability, security and prosperity in the region,” the statement added.

According to the statement, this strategic partnership will be based on the momentum resulting from the Abraham Accords, and will catch the attention of international think tanks and centers that seek to contribute to the development of Emirati-Israeli relations.

The three institutes affirmed that they will work to gather senior experts from the United Arab Emirates, Israel and the United States of America to contribute to identifying issues that represent common security concerns and threats, in addition to enhancing opportunities for trade and mutual investment, and means of cooperation in the field of cyberspace technologies, health care, epidemics control, tourism, religious and cultural affairs, water and food security and renewable energy.

Noteworthy, the United Arab Emirates' Etihad Airways launched a Hebrew-language website for Israelis who like tourism. This website tries to attract them to visit the UAE.
