Al Ahly football star Walid Soliman is set to undergo a new medical examination within hours to check on his condition, after his medical swab, to detect Corona virus, showed a positive result Sunday, according to several news outlets.
The players and the technical staff underwent a medical swab Saturday at the Red Castle's headquarters, immediately after returning from Alexandria where they clashed against Abu Qir Fertilizers.
The match was held at Borg Al Arab Stadium; Al Ahly won, thus qualifying to meet Al Ittihad Al Sakandari in the semi final round of Egypt Cup.
With the exception of the players who have previously been announced positive for the medical swab,all is well within the team, and there are no other cases before the team camp, which begins today after the evening training session.
