Ialian football agent Giovanni Branchini always has his ear to the ground when it comes to the transfer market and he has claimed that Real Madrid have made a new offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Kylian Mbappe.

After offering 180 million euros at the end of the summer window and having that rejected by the French club, Real Madrid have now reportedly made a new bid of 50m euros to try to sign the player now.

The striker only has six months left on his contract and could join Real Madrid for free in the summer, but Branchini claims that Los Blancos want to acquire their long-time target earlier than that.

"It depends on PSG now, as Real Madrid have gone back in for Mbappe by offering 50m euros a few days ago," Branchini told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I don't know how this will play out. It seems to me that this move from Florentino Perez is worth watching closely.

"It would be a shame for a player like Mbappe to move for free in the summer. I don't know what they think about this in Paris."
