Coronavirus (known also as COVID-19)  infection rates are rising again around the world

The latest data available on the UA “Johns Hopkins University” website showed that the total number of Coronavirus infections around the world reached 533 million and 44 thousand cases, compared to 532 million and 350 thousand cases at the same time the day before yesterday.

The total number of deaths rose to six million and 302 thousand deaths.

However, the total number of vaccines distributed around the world increased to 11 billion and 669 million doses.

And data from “Johns Hopkins” and “Bloomberg” showed that the death toll from Coronavirus infections in the United States rose by 0.1 percent in the 24 hours until Wednesday morning, bringing the total infections in the country to 85 million.

The increase at the national level was similar to the average daily increase during the past week, which is 0.1 percent.
