Random Eating of Herring Causes Sudden Paralysis

Dr. Eman Fekry, a nutrition and obesity consultant and member of the faculty of ASPEN in France, told (SEE) that random eating of herring may cause sudden paralysis.

Fekry stressed that people must buy herrings from a renowned and reputable source that pursues healthy packing techniques.

“Dangerous packing methods depend on putting salty fish in very tight cans that don’t allow oxygen to go inside and thus lead to the emergence of bacteria and warms,” she clarified.

Once these worms enter the human body, it may cause a sudden paralysis in tongue or the whole body starting from the legs till the head.

“That’s why right packing process should be done using airy wooden boxes,” Fekry demonstrated.

For more safety, it’s better to set salty fish on the grill for a couple of minutes to be sure they are totally free of germs and bacteria.

Lemon juice should also be added before eating the fish to kill any bacteria and olive oil can be used to lessen its salty taste.

To decrease the huge amount of sodium consumed by the body after this salty meal, the doctor advised the public to eat green salad that contains lettuce, rocca and parsley.

Moreover, people should drink at least 3 liters of water besides fresh juices, fruits and soothing potions like anise, mint; as they help in purifying the stomach.

Fekry warned of drinking soft drinks or other sugary beverages as they help in increasing blood sugar level and cause many health problems.

Also, she pointed out that all caffeinated drinks are not preferable after eating herring; as they rid the body of all liquids, so green tea would be the best option after this meal.

Finally, people must avoid overeating of salty fish as the huge amount of salt dipped inside a one single fish is very dangerous for human bodies.

Regarding the breakfast, Fekry urged people to eat healthy food and avoid eating artificial-colored- eggs; as inedible colors might cause gastritis.
