Morocco's Raja SC filed an official complaint on Wednesday to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) expressing their deep disapproval of the "disastrous" performance of the referees appointed for the first leg of CAFCL semi-final against Egypt's Zamalek SC.

Before filing the complaint, spokesman of Raja Saeed Wahby said on television: "We did not deserve to be defeated this match. I see that the better team is the one who lost." as reported by the Moroccan newspaper Al-Montakhab.

"The referee deprived us from several clear penalties in the match. We have experts specialized in the field of arbitration. We will review the match, and if it becomes clear that we are entitled to some shots, we will complain to the referees committee of the (CAF)." he added.

"All matches are difficult. I am waiting to qualify for final from Cairo. We will play with great determination to win our ticket to the final." he continued.

Zamalek SC is scheduled to host Moroccan Raja next Saturday night at Cairo Stadium at 21:00 CLT, as scheduled so far, in the second leg of CAF Champions League semi-final.

The White Knights have achieved an important victory over Raja in the first-leg match with a single goal through Achraf Bencharki, who is having one of the best seasons of his career.
