Rainy, Cold Weather Prevails across Egypt on Sunday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts cold weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Sunday.

Moderate weather is also set to prevail in South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges.

It is also foreseen that the country will experience a decline in temperature.

Furthermore, light to medium rain is also predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and the Red Sea mountain ranges as well as central and South Sinai.

There are also chances of light rain prevailing in the North Upper Egypt.

Meanwhile, extremely cold weather is foreseen to prevail across the country at nighttime, reaching the point of frost in central Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 16°C in Cairo, 16°C in Alexandria, 15°C in Marsa Matruh, 16°C in Sohag, 17°C in Qena, and 17°C in Aswan.
