Rafah Crossing Opened to Receive Injured People from Gaza

The Egyptian authorities resumed the exceptional opening of the Rafah border crossing on Thursday to receive the wounded and critical cases from the Gaza Strip and to allow stranded people to cross from both sides, in addition to bringing aid, equipment, reconstruction materials, and Egyptian technical crews into the Strip, based on the directives of the political leadership.

 

Engineering equipment and Egyptian crews are removing the rubble of destroyed homes in the Gaza Strip in preparation for the reconstruction process.

 

Under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, engineering equipment and Egyptian crews headed to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing to contribute to removing the rubble of destroyed homes in the Strip to in preparation for the reconstruction process.

 

This comes within the framework of helping the citizens of the Gaza Strip, to quickly restore normal life and start the reconstruction process, in light of President El-Sisi’s announcement of an Egyptian commitment to rapidly improving the living conditions of the residents of the Strip.
