President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Tuesday the heads of churches taking part in the General Assembly of the Middle East Council of Churches, which Cairo is hosting currently.
During the meeting, Sisi stressed that citizenship and equal rights for all are consistent values of the Egyptian state’s approach toward all citizens, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
Rady added that "The President affirmed that the state's approach is reinforced by actual and realistic practices in all aspects of life in Egypt."
