Rady: Sisi Mourns Death of Prince Philip

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi mourned Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth's husband, who passed away on Friday at age of 99.

Sisi sent a cable of condolences to Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom on the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, expressing his sincere condolences to the Queen and to all members of the royal family for their loss, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

A statement from Buckingham Palace on Friday said: “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle. Further announcements will made in due course. The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.”
