Egypt manager Carlos Queiroz has hailed his players following their victory over Libya, insisting the Pharaohs deserved the three points.
Going into the Libya clash at Borg El-Arab, Egypt wanted nothing but victory, after picking just four points from their opening two games.
Egypt dominated the game against their neighbouring country, but managed to win by just one goal, which was scored by debutant Omar Marmoush.
Despite the narrow victory, Queiroz believes his side deserved to come out victorious while adding they should have scored more on Friday night
