The Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani spoke on Sunday with the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for the 1st time since Al-Ula reconciliation accord, according to Qatari Emiri Court.

During the phone call, Qatari Emir affirmed his country's firm support for the government and people of Saudi Arabia, and for everything that would enhance the security, stability, and sovereignty of the Kingdom, considering its stability an integral part of the stability of the State of Qatar and the Gulf Cooperation Council system.

It is worth mentioning that, Al-Ula agreement for Arab reconciliation with Qatar was signed on January 5, which ended a political dispute that broke out in mid-2017.

Since June 2017, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain, had cut ties with Qatar, accusing it of interfering in their internal affairs and supporting terrorist groups, charges denied by Qatar.
