The AFC Asian Cup 2023 edition will take place in Qatar between January 12, and February 12.
China would host the upcoming edition of the tournament before declining due to the aftermath of the Coronavirus.
24 teams will participate in the event and they will be divided into 6 groups.
The first and second place holders in each group will advance to the following stage, alongside the best three placeholders.
The qualified teams for the tournament are: Qatar, UAE, KSA, Syria, and Oman.
In addition, Australia, China, Iran, Iraq, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Jordan, and Palestine will also take part in the tournament.
Uzbekistan, India, Bahrain, Tajikistan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Kyrgyzstan will participate as well.
