Sorbonne Univ: Cairo Univ. Projects Support Human Mind

Dr. George Haddad, President of the Sorbonne University, confirmed that the Institute of International Business Law and other forms of cooperation between the universities of Cairo and Sorbonne that aim to raise the slogan of global citizenship.

"We must all be one hand in order to save the planet, rather than struggle for religious reasons or identity or other reasons," he said.

This was during a celebration organized by Cairo University on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute of International Business Law between the Universities of Cairo and Sorbonne. It was attended by Dr. Mohamed Othman Al-Khasht, President of Cairo University, Mr. Stephan Roumtier, the French Ambassador to Egypt, Dr. Thomas Mastro, the Institute of International Business Law and Professor at the Faculty of Law, Director of the Institute from the French side, and a number of professors at both universities.

Haddad said that Al-Khasht is a great figure and one of the greatest specialized philosophers and his support for joint projects between Cairo University and the Sorbonne. Its main aim is to serve the human mind. The Institute of International Business Law is one of the important factors to achieve this goal.

Haddad paid tribute to all those who contributed to the establishment of the Institute of International Business Law from French and Egyptian directors, faculty members and researchers. It is worthy noting that he participated in the writing of a report on education, which focused on the challenges facing education.
