President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on Sunday Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang in the presence of Sameh Shoukry, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Chinese Ambassador to Cairo Liao Liqiang.
The President welcomed the Chinese official in Egypt, asking him to convey his greetings to the President of China, "Xi Jinping", stressing Egypt's keenness to continue fruitful cooperation within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership that brings together the two friendly countries and in light of cooperation and coordination between the two sides in various fields, in addition to the outstanding performance of Chinese companies participating in the development process throughout the Republic, presidency spokesman ambassador Bassam Rady said.
On his part, the Chinese Foreign Minister conveyed to President Sisi the greetings of President Xi Jinping, expressing China's keenness to continue developing its strategic relations with Egypt.
He also pointed out to his country's respect and appreciation for Egypt in light of its pivotal role as a main pillar of stability in the Middle East under the wise and balanced leadership of President Sisi.
The Chinese Minister also stressed China's steadfast support to Egypt in comprehensive development efforts, combating terrorism and achieving regional security and stability.
