President Sisi, Saudi Crown Prince Hold Talks on G-20 Sidelines

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met, on Saturday, Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, on the sidelines of G-20 summit in Osaka.

“During the meeting, Sisi praised close relations between the two countries,” Egyptian presidency spokesperson, Ambassador Bassam Rady said.

“The president affirmed Egypt's keenness to coordinate with the Kingdom on the developments currently taking place in the Middle East region,”Rady added.

In this context, the Saudi crown prince expressed his country’s appreciation for Egyptian leadership and people in the light of deep relations and historic ties between the two countries.

Moreover, President Sisi and the Saudi crown prince exchanged views on the most important issues on the regional scene.

The two sides also agreed on exerting joint efforts to enhance cooperation among Arab countries and confront the challenges and threats facing the regional security.

In this context, the president stressed that Gulf region’s security represents a main pillar to Arab national security and is linked to Egyptian national security.
