President Sisi Meets Prince William

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met, on Tuesday, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, at London's Buckingham Palace, Presidency’s Spokesperson Bassam Rady said.

President Sisi expressed his appreciation for the warm reception he received in London, praising the Egyptian-British cooperation relations in various fields during the recent period.

The president stressed Egypt's aspiration to strengthen these relations, especially in the fields of tourism and education, as well as at the economic level through maximizing the volume of British investments in Egypt.

On his part, Prince William expressed Britain’s appreciation to Egypt, praising the economic reform steps and the major national projects that are being implemented.

He also stressed Britain’s keenness to support Egypt's development efforts in all fields through exchanging experiences and joint investment.

Prince William also praised Egypt's pivotal role in preserving the stability in the Middle East and Africa.

President Sisi arrived in London, late Sunday to participate in the UK-Africa investment summit that kicked off yesterday in the British capital London.

He was received by some of the members of the Egyptian community in Britain, shortly after leaving the German capital of Berlin where he participated in a summit on Libya.

The three-day summit aims at enhancing investment opportunities in Africa.
