President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met on Wednesday in New Delhi with Mr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of India.
The President affirmed Egypt's keenness to strengthen and deepen the strategic partnership with India, which represents an important pillar for maintaining security and stability in the Middle East region, expressing in this context his aspiration to maximize coordination and consultation with the Indian side during the coming period regarding various political, security and economic files of common interest, presidential Spokesman ambassador Bassam Rady said.
For his part, The Indian Foreign Minister welcomed the President’s visit to New Delhi, stressing that it will contribute to supporting the course of relations between the two countries in a constructive and positive manner, especially in light of the Indian government’s commitment to strengthening frameworks of joint cooperation with Egypt in various fields.
