Handball: Portugal Ease Past Algeria 26-19 in World Championship

Portugal secured an easy 26-19 win over Algeria in the 2021 World Men's Handball Championship to top Group F with six points.

Portugal dominated all over the match as the they ended the first half with a comfortable 14-9 victory, as the European team resumed their dominance of the match during the second half.

During the match, Algeria's player Hisham Kabish, and Portugal's Alexik Borges was sent off due to violent actions after reviewing the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

Portugal now ranks first with six points, Algeria second with two, while Iceland, and Morocco are currently playing to decide the two other teams, who will join Portugal in the main round.
