Poland has confirmed its first Coronavirus case on Wednesday, according to polish Health Minister Lukasz Szumowski.

The health minister added that the infected man has been admitted to hospital and that his condition is stable.

It is worth mentioning that, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that world countries should do more and prepare for a possible pandemic because of Coronavirus outbreak.

In an official statement, WHO said that it is too early to announce a pandemic now, but the countries should be in a “phase of preparedness”.

“The epidemic will be declared when the infectious disease is easily transmitted from person to person in many parts of the world,” the statement read.

More cases of the virus, which causes respiratory disease Covid-19, continue to emerge, with outbreaks in South Korea, Italy and Iran.

China is trying with all its might to confront the effects resulting from the outbreak of the new Coronavirus via a series of strong and effective measures that seek to reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by this deadly virus.

“Coronavirus” can affect both animals and humans and cause a group of diseases that range from the common cold to severe ones, such as those caused by acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS).

The transmission of viruses between humans happens when someone comes into contact with an infected person’s secretions, such as droplets in a cough.

They can also be transmitted by coming into contact with something an infected person has touched and then touching your mouth, nose or eyes.
