PM Visits CCG Plants in SCZone

CAIRO, Mar.14 (SEE)- Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and several ministers inspected on Thursday a number of factories located within the Suez Canal economic zone (SCZone) including Ceramica Cleopatra in Ain Sukhna.

Madbouli inspected the Eldorado plant, one of the main developers of the zone, the sanitary ware factory, and Ceramica Fancy.

Chairman of Ceramica Cleopatra Group (CCG) Mohamed Abul Enein welcomed the Premier and briefed him on the group's recent activities and its affiliated facilities.

Specialized in the ceramic industry, sanitary ware, and accessories, CCG is developing an area of ​​11.87 million square meters in the economic zone at an investment value of EGP 15.3 billion.

The annual production volume of CCG reached EGP 11.1 billion with exports amounting to EGP 6.75 billion. The company also provides direct jobs to around 14,880 employees.

Madbouli praised the urban planning and technological zoning of the CCG plants in Ain Sukhna.

Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr, Minister of Transport Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Housing Assem Al-Jazzar, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish, along with Governors of Port Said, Ismailia and Suez and a number of industrial developers accompanied Madbouli during his tour.
