Petrojet will clash Al Ahly in the semi-final of the 2020-21 season as the Red Devils are looking forward to compensating of their 2-3 defeat to Smouha in the Egyptian League.
The match will kick off at 21.30 CLT. Today's encounter will be the first for Al Ahly new head coach Ricardo Soares. The new manager have been presented to the public on Friday.
During a press conference, he said that he is pleased at taking the charge of the biggest club in Africa and one of the great clubs worldwide.
"Since starting negotiation with the Red Devils, we began to analyze the team’s fixtures in order to study everything well," the Portuguese coach said.
"My assistants and I analyzed the last four matches for the team. We can confirm that Al Ahly have a very good squad and I noticed the great similarity between the Egyptian and Portuguese players," he added.
"The Egyptian players have developed and they can understand and handle any match very well," Soares pointed out.
