Perfumes do not harm the skin, however, the wrong use of the fragrance can cause dry skin and other problems.
Manal El Hage shared with “SEENews” tips on smelling good and avoiding unpleasant smells from your body.
She pointed out that all perfumes consist of two components, essential oils, whether natural or unnatural, adding alcohol must be added to the oil as it carries the perfume and makes it smell.
Whether you want to smell like perfume or just your healthy and natural self, here are how to do it and make it last all day.
* Not after shower
It is necessary to avoid using perfume immediately after bathing for alcohol makes the use of perfume undesirable as it can cause dryness or skin irritation.
* Pulse points
El Hage recommends wearing perfume on the pulse points behind the ear, the wrist, and hands and feet dermatitis, where the pulse is warmer and leads to scent spread.
* Clean Underarms
The underarm is one of the sensitive areas that can produce a high volume of sweat and requires a deep cleaning.
The expert advises cleansing the underarm with face wash or light peeling the face with soft grains because it removes the bacteria from the area and the layer of dead skin as well as eliminates underarm discoloration, then use the deodorant afterward.
* Perfume on Hair
Many people spray perfume on their face and hair that causes extreme harm to the hair due to the alcohol it contains and leads to dry hair out and breakage, so avoid getting the perfume on the hair.
