The Economic Affairs Committee of the Parliament agreed Sunday on the aid grant agreement between Egypt and the United States regarding comprehensive economic governance.
The parliamentary committee reviewed the objectives of the agreement, which are based on activities that enhance inclusiveness and transparency in the Egyptian governance systems.

It also agreed that according to the agreement, the USAID will provide Egypt with a sum of money that does not exceed 27,675,000 $ US, in order to achieve the agreement represented by focusing on comprehensive economic governance activities in Egypt.
According to the agreement, the date of completion of the assistance will be September 30, 2025, or any other date agreed upon by the two parties.
