Pakistan: 4 Killed, 15 Injured in Quetta Blast (Video)

At least four people were killed and 15 others injured in a blast in Pakistan near Science College on Quetta's Jinnah Road on Thursday night.

Balochistan Health Department media coordinator Dr. Wasim Baig confirmed the death toll in a statement issued soon after the incident.

Moreover, Adviser to the Balochistan Chief Minister on Home and Tribal Affairs Mir Ziaullah Langove pointed out that the explosion was triggered by a remote-controlled device.

Speaking to the media, he said: "The Pakistani nation has been targeted in the blast," but those who wanted to disrupt peace would not succeed in their nefarious designs.

On his part, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo also condemned the tragic attack, calling it an "act of terrorism".

In a statement, Bizenjo affirmed that he was extremely saddened by the loss of lives in the "act of terrorism", and that those targeting innocent citizens deserved strict punishment.
