Egypt’s well-known businessman, Mohamed Aboul Enein described the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group's regime as a "dark tunnel".

“I was under heavy pressure, they were trying to blackmail any businessman and put their hands on all his possessions; they tried to intimidate me to leave Egypt and take over my companies and factories,” Aboul Enein said in an exclusive interview to Egyptian Magazine “The Economist”.

“I never give up my responsibilities in this critical period, despite all threats, and their attempts to distort my image via several fabricated cases,” he added. “They were trying to hinder me through inciting my employees to stage unjustified vigils.”

The well-known businessman also added that this terrorist group had asked him to sell his factories to a number of companies in Turkey, yet he completely refused.

Moreover, Aboul Enein paid homage to the 30th June revolution that saved Egypt from chaos and ruin, as well as leading it towards a new bright stage.

He also slammed MB TV channels which promote fake news 24 hours a day to ruin the Egyptian state and distort its image abroad.

It is worth mentioning that, Aboul Enein is a high- profile industrialist with a great economic mindset. He is the founder of the “Cleopatra” group, which is considered one of the 4 most important industrial and economic edifices in the whole world; his products are exported to more than 110 countries around the world.

His life is a long chain of success and a challenging journey for an Egyptian youth from a middle-class family who managed to reach the utmost fame. His name is engraved with letters of light in the world economic record.

He also won dozens of international awards from Japan, America, and Italy.
