Opera Alexandria Attracts Jerash Audience in Jordan

Alexandria Opera Ensemble for Arabic Music and singing participated in the 34th Edition of Jerash Festival for music and singing in Jordan.

The Ensemble took part in the event after being nominated by Dr. Anas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture.

It presented a collection of heritage songs appealing to the conscience of the Arabic audience, emphasizing Egypt's artistic leadership as an incubator for all singing and music figures in the Arab world.

It is worthy of note that the Ensemble included solo violin Dr. Ihab Abdel Hamid, plus, artist Mohammed Al Kholi who sang “Manheremsh Al- Omr Minak”.

The concert ended with presenting a choral performance for a song from the Alexandrian heritage.

It is worthy of note that Ensemble was founded in 2004 and has presented many successful concerts, participating in many local, national and international festivals.
