Omani Papers Underscore Sisi's Talks with Sultan Haitham

The Omani newspapers (Al-Watan) and (Oman) stressed that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s talks with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of Oman, have strengthened cooperation in various political, security, economic and commercial fields.

Al-Watan newspaper - in its editorial today, Wednesday, entitled "A visit that strengthened relations and areas of cooperation" - stated that the Omani-Egyptian relations are gaining

great momentum today.

It pointed out that on the economic level as well, the Egyptian-Omani economic relations witnessed great momentum in light of the existence of a common political will between the two countries regarding the importance of developing and expanding the volume of relations between the two countries while working to strengthen trade, industrial and joint investment cooperation, which contributes to increasing economic growth rates.

On its part, (Oman) newspaper, under the title "New Horizons for Future Relations", manifested that the strength of relations and the compatibility and harmony of the political vision between the two countries at various levels have paved the appropriate ground for the continuation of close coordination and joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields, in order to achieve the aspirations of their peoples for integration and growth, on the one hand, and on the other hand, the continuation of their joint efforts to support security and stability regionally and globally.

Sisi held summit talks Tuesday at Al Alam Palace in Muscat with the Sultan of Oman to discuss regional issues and boosting bilateral relations.

Sultan Haitham bin Tariq valued the prominent Egyptian role in strengthening the mechanisms of joint Arab action in facing the current crises and challenges in the region, which is a model to be followed in maintaining stability and advancement of developmental, economic and social conditions in the Arab world.
