Omani Amb. Discusses Cooperation with Egyptian Investors

The Embassy of Oman in Egypt organized a meeting for a number of Egyptian investors in targeted areas at the Omani embassy’s headquarters. During the meeting, a visual presentation about Oman, and possibilities and opportunities and facilities provided and legislation facilitating climate investment was presented.

A number of Egyptian investors expressed their happiness with what they heard in the speech of Oman's Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Rahbi, in which he referred to the depth and consolidation of Egyptian-Omani relations throughout history, and what they can contribute to in order to move towards a joint action, and what they saw of the offer and opportunities.

During the meeting, the Egyptian investors also expressed their desire to be closely acquainted with the investment opportunities and incentives, through their visits to the Sultanate that will be organized during the next few period.

The Omani ambassador and the Egyptian investors reviewed ways of cooperation between Egypt and Oman in several areas that push joint investment between the two countries forward steps for the benefit of the two brotherly countries and peoples, especially aspects of benefiting from Egyptian technology in the field of palm weevil to preserve agricultural wealth.

The meeting also discussed aspects of joint cooperation between Egypt and Oman in the field of salt extraction “the field of salinas”, especially since Oman has long beaches with a large stock of salt, and Egypt possesses modern technology tools in this field. 

They also discussed ways of joint cooperation in the fields of fish farming and fishing through the seas, especially that the Sultanate is rich in fish wealth.
