Nourhan Joins TV Series “Uturn”

Egyptian actress Nourhan has recently joined the cast of actress Riham Hagag’s new TV series “Uturn”, which is set to premiere in the Ramadan 2022 drama marathon.

It also stars Safaa El-Toukhi, Abeer Sabry, Karim Kassem, Mohamed Kelany, and others.

“Uturn” also features veteran actor Tawfik Abdel Hamid, who is set to make his comeback to the small screen after 11 years of absence.

The series is written by Ayman Salama, directed by Sameh Abdelaziz, and produced by El Adl Group.

Nourhan participated last Ramadan with the star-studded TV series “Bayn El Samaa Wa El Ard” (Between Heaven and Earth).

The series consisted of 15 episodes It was written by Eslam Hafez, directed by Mandu Al-Adl, and produced by Synergy Production Company.

“Bayn El Samaa Wa El Ard” also starred Hani Salama, Yosra El Lozy, Dorra Zarrouk, Mohamed Tharwat, Mahmoud Ellithy, Naglaa Badr, Nada Moussa, Ahmed Bedier, Sawsan Badr, and others.

The production is adapted from a novel of the same title by Egyptian international writer Naguib Mahfouz.

In 1960, the novel was turned into a film starring an A-list cast, including Hind Rostom, Abdel Moneim Ibrahim, Mahmoud El Meleigy, and Abdelmonem Madbouly.

The plot revolves around a group of strangers who gets stuck together in an elevator. Each has a different story and purpose in life, including an actress, a madman, and a woman about to go into labor.
