CAIRO, Feb. 8 (SEE) – Egyptian squash champion, world number 4, Nour El Tayeb took the 2019 Cleveland Squash Classic’s title, after defeating Welsh Tesni Evans, world number 11, in the final that took place in Cleveland, USA.
The score of the final that
lasted for 55 minutes, was 3-1 (11-5/11-7/9-11/11-9) in El Tayeb’s favor. In
this regard the champion expressed, “Tesni is smarter than me. She slowed the
pace and talked to the official between almost every point. I love her dearly!”
This is El Tayeb fourth title in
a row in the US.
Egypt’s Raneem El Welily, World number 1, previously won the Cleveland Classic in 2013.
