Nokia Unveils Its New 4G Phones

Nokia released on Monday, it's two new 4G phones in China, that support VoLTE and HD calls. Both model costs $43, and is already up for pre-order, whereas the latter is priced $52, and will be available for pre-order starting October 17.

The common features between the two include support for 4G connectivity on all the three major carriers in China, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), FM Radio, and LED flash. Also, both model come with T9 island-style numeric keypad.

In addition, the 2nd model features a sort of premium design but still, both are made of polycarbonate. According to Tech news, Nokia 215 comes in black and green colour options. Nokia 225 is available in black, blue, and gold colour options.

On other hand, HMD Global has released Android 11 update roadmap for Nokia smartphones. In the first wave of the roll-out, Android 11 will arrive on Nokia 8.3 5G, 5.3, 2.2, and 8.1.

Nokia 1.3, 4.2,  2.4, 2.3, and 3.4 are scheduled to receive the Android 11 update in the first quarter of 2021.

Ealier, Nokia 5310 redesigned along with the new Android Smartphones, HMD has been releasing redesigned old Nokia feature phones such as the legendary 3310 version and the famous folding Banana Phone.

According to the firm, the new product will receive a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 320×240 pixels, 8 MB of RAM and 16 MB of internal memory, expandable to 32 GB using a microSD card.

The battery capacity of the device will be 1200 mAh, dimensions – 123.75 x 52.43 x 13.1 mm, weight, 88 grams. The main camera will be represented by a single 0.3 MP sensor. The regulator did not disclose the announcement date, but certification is usually indicative of the model’s readiness for market entry.

Meanwhile, no music player controls are visible on the side faces. The price and commercial name of the updated version of 5310 Xpress Music is unknown.

This phone also has dual front firing speakers that will help to generate high quality sound in every situation. Talking about the build, this phone has soft plastic finish in the edges that will help with grip. Users won’t face any problem gripping this phone in their hand for hours.
