Searchlight Pictures released Thursday the easer for Oscar award-winning filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro’s new movie "Nightmare Alley".
The footage highlighted the filmmaker's fascination with the supernatural in the R-rated noir movie.
It is based on William Lindsay Gresham’s 1946 novel of the same name, and marks del Toro’s first movie since 2017's "The Shape of Water".

"Nightmare Alley" stars Bradley Cooper as Stanton Carlisle, a nightclub mind reader who becomes tangled up with psychiatrist Lilith Ritter, played by Cate Blanchett, who is out to debunk him as a fraud.
The movie also features Willem Dafoe, Toni Collette, Richard Jenkins, Ron Perlman, Rooney Mara, Holt McCallany, Tim Blake Nelson, Mary Steenburgen, David Strathairn, and Clifton Collins Jr.
"Nightmare Alley" will debut on December 17.
