Raja defender Fabrice Gael Ngah said on Sunday that the Green Devils' mission against Zamalek in the CAF Champions League semi-final would not be easy.

In statements to the "le 360" newspaper, the Cameroonian said that the club's players insist on claiming the Champions League title.

Raja are set to host Zamalek in the first leg of the semi-finals tonight at Mohamed V Stadium.

"Every footballer comes under criticism of his low performance, and the main reason behind this low performance was the spread of coronavirus pandemic," Ngah said.

"I promise you to improve my performance during the upcoming period," the 23-year-old player added.

"We have closed the paper of the Moroccan League, and all the players gear up to claim the Champions League trophy," Ngah noted.

"Our mission against the White Knight is not easy at all, but all the squad insists on qualifying for the final," he concluded.
