The CAF Champions League Final between Al Ahly and Zamalek provoked a bitter pision among the staff of New Zealand's embassy in Cairo.

The final will take place at Cairo Stadium on Friday.

The controversy broke up between the ambassador Greg Lewis, who support the Red Devils and the main inventor of the term "mango diplomacy," and his deputy, "Ross," who is a big fan of the White Knights.

"I support Al Ahly to claim the Champions League finals for the 9th time in their history, while Ross hopes that Zamalek can lift the title for the sixth time in their history," the ambassador tweeted.

It is worth mentioning that Al Ahly will face off Zamalek in the final for the first time in the history.

But with the emergence of some cases of Coronavirus (COVID- 19) among players of the two teams, there is a fear that they may be postponed again.

The players of both clubs will undergo special PCR tests, which will be made by the doctors of  Confederation of African Football ( CAF)  next Wednesday, the results of which will appear on Thursday.

There are players who have been in contact with their infected colleagues during the last camp of the national team.
