On Thursday, the highly-anticipated DC Extended Universe standalone sequel, “The Suicide Squad”, drooped a new trailer days after releasing its first red-band trailer on March 26.
The new clip features the new characters and their occasionally bizarre superpowers.

“The Suicide Squad” is written and directed by James Gunn and is not a reboot or sequel to the last movie.
The upcoming movie will be an R-rating movie that will feature Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, American actor and former WWE wrestler John Cena as the Peacemaker, Idris Elba as Bloodsport, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.
It will also feature Taika Waititi and Sylvester Stallone, who is voicing King Shark.
In addition, there is also a spin-off TV series focusing on Cena’s Peacemaker character that will debut on HBO Max in January 2022.
“The Suicide Squad” is scheduled for a joint release in cinemas and on HBO Max, on August 6.
