NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg pledged, on Monday to continue supporting Ukraine in the face of Russia.

"Russia's war in Ukraine is not going as Moscow had planned," Stoltenberg said in a press conference, adding that Russia has failed to achieve its strategic objectives.

“President Putin wants Ukraine defeated, NATO down, and Europe and North America pided. But Ukraine stands, and NATO is stronger than ever. Europe and North America are solidly united. Ukraine can win this war”, he stressed.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on Wednesday that Russia’s attack on Ukraine has made NATO and Europe more powerful.

Earlier, the US writer David Ignatius said that Russia had made many mistakes since the start of the military operation in Ukraine.

In an article, published by the US newspaper “Washington Post”, the writer added that among the grave mistakes made by Russia, which have cost it a lot since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, is the exaggeration of its expectations regarding its superiority in electronic warfare as part of the current military war on Ukrainian soil.
