National Youth Conference Celebrates Egypt`s Sports Champions

In its eighth edition, the National Youth Conference (NYC) witnessed the celebration of the presence of Egypt's champions in 2019 African Games who won the largest number of medals in one tournament in addition to the U19 handball team who won the world championship.

The attendees celebrated and greeted the athletes at NYC.

Egypt's youth screened a film showing several successes achieved by Egypt through its youth in the fields of science, sports, economy, energy and many other fields.

About the 8th National Youth Conference:

The eighth edition of the National Youth Conference is based on a number of discussion sessions. The main highlighted session of the agenda is “Ask the President”, which has been opened for questions on the website: Askthepresident.net.

The conference is attended by 1600 participants, the majority of whom are young. It is attended by the Presidential Program`s youth, the youth of universities, young politicians, young engineers working in national projects, young doctors and also young businessmen.

The agenda of the one-day conference includes three sessions, most notably the “Ask the President” session and two more.

About the National Youth Conference:

The National Youth Conference (NYC) started as an opportunity for dialogue and the youth's ideas and theses. It supports communication between the state and the youth. NYC was launched following the youth conference in Sharm El-Sheikh, South Sinai Governorate in October 2016.

The NYC`s first edition began in Cairo in December of the same year, passing a series of conferences in various governorates of Egypt, the latest was held in the new administrative capital.

NYC resulted in producing several recommendations, most notably the launch of the World Youth Forum, of which two versions have been held so far and had given recommendations, including the implementation of the Arab African Youth Forum.

One of the recommendations of NYC was the establishment of the National Academy for Youth Training and Rehabilitation.
