Nadine ElGayar Crowned Miss Egypt 2021

Egypt’s dental student Nadine ElGayar won Miss Egypt 2021 title after competing with 900 other candidates.

For the young stunning girl, winning and clinching this years' title on Monday was a dream come true.

"I feel just great, just amazing, I'm on top of the world and over the moon. I never thought I'd get so far," ElGayar said, beaming throughout her victory news conference.

"The selection of Miss of beauty is tailored to the specific criteria and standards of this annual competition. It's not only about the beauty, but also Miss of beauty must be intelligent, well-mannered, and cultured," she said with determination and strength.

The dental student from Mansoura beat 30 other girls at the glittering ceremony in Cairo on Monday night while Habiba Othman, a young girl and high school student took the Teenager Crown.

The Miss Teen of the Egypt 2021, Othman, also walked on stage to have their farewell walk.

A jury of public figures chose Nadin ElGayar to be crowned Miss Egypt, after passing successfully all the committee’s tests.

Among the jury of Miss Egypt 2021 competition are, a well-known TV anchor Fares Said, actress Reim Albaroudi, TV presenter and actress Heba Alabasery and a number of former winners of Miss Egypt throughout the time, as well as public figures, according to Al-Ahram newspaper.

It’s worth mentioning that ElGayar’s victory will see her go on to compete at Miss Tourism World soon.

The historic Miss Egypt event is an annual, national beauty pageant that has been crowning winners since the 1940s.
