Mohannad Tarek Shaaban, player of the Egyptian modern pentathlon team, won the silver medal in the Modern Pentathlon World Cup.
The tournament was held in Budapest, Hungary, from April 23 to May 1.
Muhannad won second place with 1530 points.
Korean Wojinty John won first place and the gold medal with 1534 points.
Czech Martin Flach won third place and the bronze medal with 1525 points.
Egypt will participate in the tournament with a list of 8 players, Ahmed El-Gendy, Mohamed El-Gendy, Muhannad Shaaban, Islam Hamed, Ahmed Ashraf, Salma Abdel-Maksoud, Amira Qandil and Haidy Adel
