Parliament's Tourism and Civil Aviation Committee member, MP Mohamed Al Masoud, affirmed that setting a media strategy for tourism marketing in Egypt in a professional manner is the best solution for promoting tourist sites and monuments.

Al Masoud explained that the tourism sector has witnessed unprecedented progress since President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi assumed office, stressing the need for such a strategy to increase the number of tourists and revitalize the tourism sector.

Al Masoud indicated that the tourism sector is one of the most important sectors that support the hard currency and benefit the Egyptian economy.

The Member of Parliament's Tourism Committee continued: "Activating a media strategy for tourism marketing, aims to inform the world of various Egyptian tourist destinations and highlights the new archaeological and tourism openings, discoveries and projects that the Egyptian state undertakes in light of its efforts to support the tourism and antiquities sector."

He also called on Khaled Al Anani, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, alongside Osama Heikal, Minister of Information, to speed up the implementation of the axes of this strategy as soon as possible because of its great benefit to the Egyptian tourism sector.
