On the sidelines of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON), The President of Mozambique Filipe Nyusi and his accompanying delegation arrived on Saturday to the pyramids plateau.
Director general of the pyramid antiquities section Ashraf Mohieddin welcomed the delegation during their tour, which included a visit inside the Great Pyramid and around the Panorama area.
The president expressed great admiration for the ancient Egyptian civilization and the grandeur of the pyramids.
Nyusi and his accompanying delegation were keen to take photographs and listen to a review during the tour.
