TV anchor Ahmed Moussa confirmed that Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, inspected a number of Sharm El-Sheikh hotels that are being developed to host the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change COP27, next November 2022.
Moussa said in his talk show “On My Responsibility” broadcast on Sada El Balad satellite channel, that the Prime Minister visited Cleopatra Resort in Sharm El-Sheikh.
Deputy speaker of Parliament MP Mohamed Abou El Enein received the Prime Minister at Cleopatra Resort, and confirmed the continuation of preparations and development work ahead of the Climate Summit.
Madbouly also inspected the preparations made by the hotels regarding the provision of various logistical and technical means such as high-speed internet service, which will be provided to the guests of Egypt during the conference.
He also inspected the environmentally friendly solar power plants that serve hotel facilities in Sharm El Sheikh, in addition to hotels that have obtained the Green Star certificate so far.
