Jose Mourinho made an ideal start to his new post as Tottenham’s new head coach after Spurs pulled off a 3-2 victory over West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday.

Although it is the first away premier league win for the Spurs since January, Mourinho does not look quite pleased with his team’s performance.

Son Heung-Min had given his side the lead in the 36th minute when Alli slid a pass down the inside left to release Son, who shook to confuse West Ham defender Diop, thumping the ball with a left-foot shot into the bottom right.

Seven minutes later, Lucas doubled Tottenham’s lead after Son curled a low cross towards the far post, where Lucas raced it to plant the ball into the net.

Kane confirmed Mourinho’s side well-deserved victory by adding the third shock when he meet Aurier’s well-played cross with a downward header past the flapping Roberto.

West Ham revived their hopes in the game by netting the first goal in the 73rd minute Antonio slipped Alderweireld with a deft shimmy right, and then planted a low shot into the bottom left from the edge of the area. Ogbonna scored a late goal in the 96th minute, when he slammed a powerful shot into the bottom left.
